6 Spanish soldiers Died in Lebanon today, R.I.P.

I was listening to the radio today and all the programs got interrupted with breaking news: Spanish troops in the south of Lebanon had suffered a terrorist attack. Initially there were 5 soldiers dead and several wounded, but finally there have been 6 deaths.
I know that if you're not spanish this won't touch you the same way as me, but i just wanted to express my sorrow for them and their families...those soldiers are there only making it possible taht lebanon can stay in peace, not fighting against lebanese people, who in general have accepted them very well.
RIP for those soldiers, and i hope it never happens again. Thank you to those who have made the effort to read this.

Well as you know - I do spend a lot of time in Spain, and y partner reads all his news in Spanish and watches the Spanish language TV stations - so I had heard of this, and please accept my condolences.

Oh sweetheart - I have only just got to this discussion as I was on holiday when you posted it! I am not Spanish but these needless deaths of peacekeeping servicemen has touched me deeply and I join you in hoping that they rest in peace and their families too will know peace in the future!
