Miss a hair or two while shaving?

Does it freak you out when you realize that you missed a patch of hair on your legs when you shaved? It doesn't bother me. The only time I shave my legs is in the summer. I often find a patch or two of places that I missed with the razor. Oh well, the world still revolves regardless.

It can really irritate me sometimes, especially when it happens to be several little patches, that I cannot figure out how I missed in the first place. However, I really don't worry about it too much. I either just fix it next shower or whatever so I don't have to worry about it bothering me.

I have maybe six hairs total on each leg. When I was young my mom said if I did not shave my legs before I was twenty one, they would all fall out. She thought it was a waste of time. Well, I shaved them anyway, and I guess that this is where my Native American heritage shows, as I have almost no hair on my legs or my arms. The one or two I find on my legs, I pull right out, because they usually are long enough for a "Pony tail" by the time I notice them. If people are looking that close they shouldn't be.

I really hate shaving. But, wearing shorts in the hot summer months I feel obligated to shave off the hair. I don't shave them in the winter months.

Nope- I just get it next time I’m in the shower- Not a big deal- I shave my legs year round- Plus lotion them- otherwise I have very dry skin- Plus I love the silky smooth feel- I usually miss spots around my knees- you would think after years of shaving- I’d have mastered it by now! lol

For me, it depends upon where the patch is! If it is in my direct line of vision, it will drive me nuts! (yeah, I'm anal like that!). One night I was fresh out of the shower and had shaved my legs. (very painstakingly I had thought) and I sat down by hubby on the sofa and put my legs up on the ottoman. As we watched the news, I noticed a few hairs on my leg...right where the leg meets the foot. I attempted to distract myself by crossing my legs and putting the other leg on top of it. I want you to know that before the news was over, I had excused myself to the bathroom to take care of the strays!!!

LOL, that is funny. I notice the stray lines only when I get an itch. I wonder if others have noticed, but I don't lose sleep over it.

It doesn't exactly freak me out but I am a person that would then take a razor to that part that I missed. Why not? If I walk around in shorts and I feel that I have missed an area that would be seen, why not just go ahead and take a razor to it? No harm. No foul. Right? :)

LOL, I am in such a hurry these days, I miss a streak of hair, mostly down the back of my legs. It's drives me nuts, cause I don't want other's to notice it.

I always shave in the shower and without my glasses, I cant even see the hair. LOL I depend on the feel and yes I always miss the spot at my ankles. I am afraid of cutting myself without my glasses and think I will do it when I get out of the shower... I always forget though. LOL

honestly I only use a razor on my arm pits. When it comes to my legs I use the hair removal lotions and creams for the simple fact of missing patches with the razor and my husband HATES hair on my legs. I figure with the lotions and creams I cant miss a patch cause I will cover my entire lower leg and then wash it away.

It drives me seriously batty to miss a section! I always double-check after shaving before getting out to be sure I don't. I have to shave all year round because I can't stand my legs rubbing against each other while I am trying to fall asleep.

Yes, this has occured to me often. I stopped shaving a long time ago, & used wax instead. But even with that patches are missed. It gets harder as I get older, as I can't twist my legs around properly to see certain back sections.
My husband bought me a epilator recently. It really is very good. It took a lot longer for the hairs to gow back.
I mainly only shave in summer too, as I premanently wear jeans in winter. No dresses or skirts for me!

That happens a lot to me. Oh how I hate shaving! I had a company picnic on Saturday, and I found one! How annoying!
