He started out as a client, but over the almost year and a half. We have become good friends. We joke about being married, and the way we have arguments and all. But he is really ill now. He had a stroke before I met him. He has sugar and adema, and is heavyset in a wheelchair. He is having many problems at the moment. He needs to go to the Hospital but won't. He may even lose his legs... I'm not a Nurse or HHA. I'm his housekeeper/personal assistant. But he needs help. Medicare says he make a little to much money, but how, as he is handicapped. There is much more to this story. But please just say prayers for My Dave. That he may recover. As he is at the point he is in so much pain he doesn't care if they cut his legs off or not. And I have been so teary eyed ever since I got home. Why is it so many people that are walking around get help?, But a lot of people who really need it gets Jack ***?

I will certainly keep him in my prayers and I do wish he would go to the hospital anyhow. That is so sad. Our whole system in aiding individuals is sad. I could write a book on the people that have a wee bit too much that don't receive help. Things just like this really tick me off. I know this is a discussion to pray for healing for your employer/friend so I won't go off on a tangent about our wonderful, helpful government. (This time) Too many people in this country go without necessary care, while others are handed everything, food, housing, healthcare, FREE education...grrrr. Sorry..it just came out anyhow...

Thank you so much for your prayers. He is in the hospital now. He called me, and they have him doped up on morphine, but he said it's not killing all the pain. The Goverment really sucks. I know someone who had a family problem happen, her hours at work got cut, and all that DSS would give her is food stamps. She has 3 kids. She works in a nursing home. She even lost her health insurance. DSS said "well just go find another job" But you have all these people who have never worked, and get everything. What is wrong with this picture...

I was worried about that and I am glad that you responded. At least he is in the right place now. Hopefully he will receive the care that he needs and recover soon. Our country seriously needs to move toward some sort of health care plan for everyone, not just the select few. No one should go without health care in this country. I know people that go withouts meds because they cannot afford the cost. Yeah, just get another job. It doesn't matter if you have 3 kids at home to raise. There are SO many jobs out there to be had..yeah, right.

I'm so fed up with how this government declares that if a person has just a wee bit more money then they can't get various benefits You better believe I'll say prayers for your Dave...and that he can get the help he needs

He called me Monday afternoon. He is in the hospital. My god only a few hours after leaving his house. He was stuck in the bathroom, he got really weak and ended up pulling the emergency cord. I knew the whole time when I got home, and we were BBQing and I had a bad feeling that I just couldn't shake. I'm happy he went. Because I was ready to start making call to try and help him. So I guess I will wait and see what happens. I thank you for your prayers, and I feel it will help him to have support.

That is one thing that is wrong with our government here. I just don't understand that when a person needs medical treatment they can not get help yet others who do not even try to make a living or an effort in life get all the help they need. It's said. I will send a prayer up for Dave.

Thank you for praying for Dave. And you are so right. There are people out there that can get anything, and they work the system. Then there are the people that really need help, and they get turned away.
