Our life is a chain of happy moments ,achievements ,and successes on the one hand and of course of failures ,bad luck events and sad moments. Because I am a clear pesron and open to people I usually become expressive to them on either cases. I have noticed that not all my friends are happy with my achievements or happy moments of mine. They are more willing to share my disappointments or sorrow. I am wondering now.Why do people hate seeing their friends happy? What is wrong with that? Should I hide all the good moments of mine? Of course I do not become boasting or showing off.I am just showing my happiness. This is so disappointing to me.That is the reason I have very few close friends. The ones who participate in all cases. When my friends are happy I am happy too for them. When they are sad I am sad too. Do you think that I should change my behaviour and hide all my achievements when I have them and all my happy moments?

I agree that we must share sorrow with others because thats the only way we can show our empathy , but hiding happiness is hypocrisy..'coz man by nature is joyful/happy, so by hiding, it suppresses one's natural feeling. While suffering sorrow or sadness with others lessened such burden/baggage of that person.

for me, i share both to my friends so that they will know the things that i am going through. and its nice to share something that bothers you coz it will lessen the burdens that we feel.

True friends will be by your side when you are sad. And be the one to share the happiness. No need to hide ur achievements... just act like normal.... if they are jealous it is upto them..... true friends won't be jealous... they may envy you but not jealous.
