mysterious missing

I have a discussion about masonry. It has been long time likely void because only a couple of people responded it and they didn't have deep ideas about masonry. Then happily one day an actual Mason here in mylot decided to clarify a few points and bring out his vision. He didn't revealed any secret neither, according to what he said, but his post merited the "Best Response", I was just asking a few more questions for my understanding. So today, when I went to that discussion to mark the best response, I FIND THE POSTS ARE MISSING!! All the posts in which he had participation! What is this? Some kind of hidden censorship? Just a mystery with no answer? no way to think about the mylot rules, his posts were serious and quality enough... then what? Have you ever missed a post when you were talking about a mistery? like talking about Extraterrestrial Aliens, or Secret Societies, or Out-of-place Artefacts?

So, are you looking for some kind of conspiracy? Think the masons are out to get you? My grandpa is a mason, anyone can become one, you just have to ask. The "Grand Master" is as high as you can get, and he only controls lodges within his area. They don't have national meetings or anything. It is a bunch of old(er) men getting together and living out a fantasy by pretending they are in a secret society.

LOL that is really an excellent description. My grandad was a Grand Master and really he was the most inoffensive man you could ever meet. The idea that he was part of some sinister global conspiracy as some people like to portray the whole freemasonry thing is just ludicrous. Basically it's just a bunch of guys that like the notion that they're part of a secret society. It's just like a secret gang thing at school or whatever. In fairness they also do a lot of fund raising for charity as well - or at least they do here in Scotland anyway. However, on the whole it's all pretty silly but harmless stuff I think.

I've noticed that posts seem to disappear all the time for no apparent reason. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to go through discussions and mark best response again - I have a few discussions where I've had to mark best response at least three times because the original post I gave it to has been deleted. It's annoying but I don't think there's anything sinister going on - I just think the person/people responsible for deletions don't have much of a clue what they're doing.

No not really. Have you written mylot several, one won't do, messages as to why they were deleted? Maybe a mistake took place. That is very odd and yeah it would make me wonder.

The only mystery for me these days is supernatural things like karma, aura, spirits etc. It's not that aliens and secret societies are not mysteries to me, I just don't think much about them. Everyone has a secret and some would go the extra length to keep it, to me this is just normal. I never see this topic you mentioned so I can't guess why it's deleted. I remember a topic about a criminal was gone a few hours or maybe a day after I responded to it. I posted a topic about this topic, it's not my topic but I wonder why it was deleted anyway. Now it's been so long, this topic might be recovered or not I won't know.

Speaking of Freemasons -- there was a program on TV last night that was all about them and I thought of you immediately. Turns out America's founders where mostly Freemasons! Their symbols are everywhere, not just the eye in the pyramid on our money! They have some concentration on promoting the wealth and advancement of their brothers, but I still find them more acceptable than the Skull and Bones Society, not to mention other societies which are soooo secret we don't even know they exist! They take the "Free" part of their name very seriously, without being total anarchists.

I hadn't heard of Abakua before, but have since looked it up on line. Very interesting and somewhat like Freemasonry as well. Some of the on lone stuff talked a lot about music, although the best description I found made no mention of it -- only about their signs and symbols. Does Abakua make use of sound vibration, or is this just an offshoot, more related to the social interaction of the members and less related to the brotherhood's rituals?

It is of brotherhood rituals also, and it has it own religion/philosophy. But amazingly they worship the drums, so it is a lot about music also. I will tell you more if you are interested...

He might have gotten banned from mylot for doing something wrong. I know that when a friend got banned from mylot they deleted her discussions as well as all her responses that she had made. I lost points because I had responded to her discussions. Which I don't believe is really fair because it wasn't my fault for what she did. But oh well what can a person do.

Hi missak, It wasn't me! I didn't do it! hahaha. I looked and they're still there. At least on my P.C. Maybe myLot is Masonic in origin, All the members are Masonic! Na just kidding. What happened, they came back like a glitch or something? I think I'd good with the Extraterrestrial theory, it sounds more believable. Don't you think? Peace, Totty

lol!!! Yes, they came back. Well, maybe it is just that I didn't look very deep that day, but I am tired of loosing posts for nothing so I found funny to post that. Maybe it don't hat to be that the mylot members are Masonic, maybe they are form Skull and the bones and were jealous that I didn't take them into account... Of course, the Extraterrestrial theory is much better... Peace! Randy.

If you need to know something about masonary, just ask my wife, she is very good at it. She is laying a new tile floor in the kitchen. Anything else that falls under mason is just another form of alien abduction.

I also had an entire discussion removed once and till date I even do not know what the reason was. I think some people have the habit of marking people negatively and filing complaints against discussions they do not feel comfortable with, and this results in discussions or comments being removed by MyLot. I wish MyLot change their policy and start giving warnings of some sort before actually removing people's discussions.

Your missing posts? Discussions are often deleted due to various of reasons if anyone your older ones disappear it's due to the fact mylot take out discussions and recycle them :) Kudos, ~Joey P.s Did you get that code to work?
