Ever tried one of those massage chairs at the mall?

Well, me and my friend had a nice lunch today, and then we decided we didn't wanna go home yet, so why not go to the mall? Well that's exactly what we did. Now I'm sure every mall has that one shop where they have all these cool massage chairs and stuff, technology at it's best. And I had always passed the shop before without popping in, but this time, I said why not go in and try some stuff. Well, I came across this really cool mp3 player, which sends electric shocks up and down your arm while playing music to soothe stress. And then I sat in the most wonderful massage chair ever. It felt like a huge muscly guy was massaging me,ha ha, seriously. Oh, it was so good. Of course it cost over 6000$ but that doesn't make any difference to me, not because i have that kind of money but only because, well, I'd never buy it anyway. It was so good though, not those vibrating type massagers, but real good ones felt like hands really. It was so especially good for the feet. It was so good that I actually wished I had some back pain or something just to know what that kind of relief actually felt like, ha ha. So have you tried on of those massage chairs in your mall?

Our mall stinks! We don't have any of those luxary chairs here. I very seldom go to the mall anymore because most of what is in there is way over priced or junk!

Well there's actually a lot of malls here, and half of them stink too. I just like one mall, called Seef mall. And this shop just opened recently, so good for me. I think our country has a lot of malls, it's a really small place, and malls seem to be popping up everywhere. I guess it's good because there's really not that much to do here anyway.

not me but my mother. she always tries massage chairs whenever she sees one. it is her weakness. she's amazed by the massaging mechanism of the chairs and even more if it is with a remote control. she would sit there for like 30 mins just trying it out.

cena did it again - he's still the champ
oh yeah, you guys are lucky you're allowed to do that, I don't think I'd be able to go into that shop all the time just for that.

well some chairs do have signs on them that trying out is not allowed. but still my mother just goes ahead and tries it out until a personnel comes over. quite embarrasing as you may say.

Hi vega83 i already tried those massage chairs at the mall. I think its 3-4 times already and i feel very good. But not really like those people who will give you a massage thats just a machine.

Yeah, I agree. It is hard to beat the human touch. I haven't had a real massage ever, but still I'm sure, being massaged by a real person would be a whole lotta better than even the best massaging chair.

well no i havent tried but have seen many at every mall, and yes they cost too much i know but they are just for people who really want to buy them, i think i would rather save money than buy those expensive items, thought i have heard many ppl say that those chairs are awesome.

Yeah, they definitely are awesome, but of course I would never have enough money to spare on them, but that shouldn't stop us from at least trying them out once to know for ourselves how good they are, no harm in that, is there?

well yes we have seen them at the malls here in Mumbai and seems interesting, the way you have described it definately i am gonna go with my hubby to try it..... yes the massage to the feet is certainly which is most relaxing..... i tried having a relaxing ayurvedic massage at a nice spa here , it was pretty expensive but really really good. they used different-different kinds of oils and mud preparations and it felt really very good on the legs, back and feet. it soothes stress. i am looking forward to the experience of the massage chair.

I'm sure it wouldn't really compared to the real thing, your experience sounds good too. Of course nothing compares to the real human touch, not even the best massage chair.

Almost all the malls around here have the massage chairs that you can sit in and get a 5 min massage for a buck. I love those chairs. Of course they have the stores that sell the expensive chairs too but I like using the ones in the mall. I actually got a massage mat for my birthday last year which was freaking awesome. I have a bad back and use it often. It has 3 different levels and is heated. The thing is works wonders when you're sore and hurt all over.

oh, sounds good. I so wish there were those one buck massage chairs here too. I guess maybe I should buy one and keep it in the mall and charge people for it, good business idea...Ha ha.

No, I haven't tried it. It's very expensive and if I am not going to buy it, I don't want to try it. I don't want I may make any mistakes for it and I have to buy it at last:)

Well not really, because you don't mess with the controls the salesman does, so you got nothing to worry about..

Haha. I can't even if i wanted to. They seem full all the time. I usually see most of the elder people using it, while their children and grandchildren do their shopping. I see most of them with their eyes closed.. it looks so good.. But nope, i've never tried it. They said it's so good that it can really make you drool!

ive tried it just last sunday in the mall after a long walk and srolling in the mall i see this massaging chair i was curious about it . i know a little about reflexology with different techniques of massage so i decided to try it . for me its ok . its not that bad it can relieve the temporary pain ur feeling at that moment . so for me its ok to have a massage with that chair anyway it cost cheaper just 1$ .

Just yesterday I was at the mall and I sat on one of those massage chairs. It felt really good especially since my lower back was hurting. I don't think it caused me a long term relief but it did feel good for the time being.

Yeah, it does feel good for that time, and for a little bit later after that.. but I wasn't in any pain anyway, so for me it was just like a really good foot rub.

I sat in a massage chair that had a massage stool that you buy separately. I fell in love with that chair! The one I tried was under $1,000 though. I could never see me buying one unless I won the lottery. They are very soothing!
@vega83 (6346)

Yeah, they are soothing, but there are so many things I would rather buy first. I don't think I'll ever spend that kind of money on a chair.

I tried that too, me and my husband actually, and its fun can help us stressed out, funny for us because when we doing that my son is on my husbands lap, while my husbands tryin to release pains in his body our son enjoying on his lap, its double purpose.hahaha.

No I haven't felt like using those massage chairs at the mall, just because of the high cost of those chairs. I would not spend such big sum of money for my pain, rather I would take some medicine and get rid of my pain or visit the doctor.

i just purchased the IJOY massage chair, and i love it. i sit in it everyday. its very stress relieving, and with the work i do, i have alot of it and much shoulder and neck pain. so its worth it so i don't have to spend the time or the money at a chiropractor.
