Is There Anything FREE in Life Anymore?

As the saying goes you get nothing for free nowadays, everything and everyone it seems has a price tag on it. The days of going anywhere and getting things for free have sadly long gone!
BUT! There is one thing you can get for free and that's advertising!
If you have a business or a website to promote there are an infinite amount of sites which offer FREE advertising, I was amazed at the amount of adverts I was able to post to promote my businesses and sites when I first started many years ago now!
For small businesses or people who want to start their own business especially online you can find sites to promote your business for FREE without spending one single cent or penny!
Even if you wanted to promote Mylot you can do it FREE!
It's amazing!
So what else is free in this world?

Hiya, long time no type!
Hope u haven't taken it personally that I've not replied to your discussions, just not been on here, have been a vety bust bunny and finally a graduate now!
But remember...all you need is love...the beatles..ha ha.. sorry, I know I'm not really answering seriously, but if you can call it free, and that may be somewhat doubtful, I think it's about all that is.
Since I'm back can I be your friend again now? Please! I'm most offended u've removed me from ur friends list!! Maybe love isn't free after all...absence makes the heart grow fonder after all, ha ha ... and promise I'll answer some of ur other discussions a bit more sensibly! ...sulks in corner til gets added again!!! ...

Oh my, I get tons of stuff free on freebie sites, I get them for me and my family, mostly samples, but some very nice samples to date so far, the best one was a huge lemonaide stand for my girls, came with a lemon strainer and a huge cardboard stand that is 7 feet tall, that is what I am talking about, all for FREE!

We have a church called The Mustard Seed and it gets donations like, new and used clothing, work boots, pots and pans and starter kits etc. The Seed supplies these things to anyone needing them, the people only have to go down there and ask. I'm very familiar with this church and all that they give out is good quality. They also have one free daily meal for whoever shows up at the door.

Well I would say just look around you, and there are so many wonderful things you can enjoy for free in this world. The scenery around us and Nature for a start – whether it’s a perfect Summer rose in the garden, a sunset or sunrise, a full moon on a clear night, in fact all the beauty of the countryside around us can be enjoyed for free. Even here in London we can walk to a nearby park and feel the sun on our faces, hear the sounds of children playing, and look up at the sky. And then I should mention the delicate scent of the honeysuckle in bloom at this time of yea – that is awesome and totally free to go out and smell whenever I want, and, of course, the sound of my cats purring! LOL! I must be in a romantic mood this morning, even though all I can currently see out of my office window is the nearby Gasworks!!!!! But they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! Cheers

The very air that we breathe is still free. Thank goodness! (LOL) kidding aside, its true that we barely can get anything free today. If ever there was something free, you really have to look hard for it. How I wish most of the things we need would be free!

I think Wolfie the other thing that is free in Life is the Love from your Partner or Kids or your Friends that is free if it was not it would not be Love
A hug is free
A kiss is free
Loving Arms holding you in need is free
But I think that is about all that is free now

Sure.
Although most things are much but yeah they're are still free things. It's hard to find something for free but I'm not that lucky, a friend of mine got a tv (hd/flatscreen) worth about £800 for free and another had windows fitted for free but he had to put a sign in his garden :P

Yes, blood is free. Your own blood. And you can see it anytime you want to. Tears are also free. You can see those whenever you want, too.

Aside from the free adverts, there are a lot of free things in life...One is to stroll along the busy street and just enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. Or you may look up and see the beautiful clouds above you. Lets not forget simple things in life that makes us simply happy. Well, having new frineds on-line is for free but soon, it may create a lasting friendship...Well, what I'm saying is that we may be too hooked with our every day life, lets not forget to apprecate little things around us...Good luck on your business venture wolfie.

There are all the freebie sites, that offer samles of new products and one that I like is killerfreebies.com.....there are some great coffee and tea samples and many others.....

Sometimes in larger cities there are music concerts that are free, in parks or squares. There was a blues concert in Chicago recently that was free to get in. Plus here in my city there are all kinds of free music concerts that are free. Using my computer with a webcam...I can talk for free. Can't think of much else...not right now.

there are a lot more which are still free. i can watch free movies at local tv's. there are promotional items like toys and movie passes that are given to customers who buy food stuff in fast food chains for instance. free samples of products are disributed to anyone inside a mall. there are also free earning money programs which pay you when you sign up just like mylot.
