This week is Vacation Bible School!

Guess what! We have vacation bible school in my church during the week of June 25th to June 29th. My daughter is participating as a teacher and I am very proud of her because she really wants to serve the Lord. What suggestions do you have for her as far as making any crafts for 3rd graders? She is very responsible and loves kids!

Oh that is wonderful - I'm afraid I've never been very creative with coming up with craft ideas (if I see something I can 'reproduce' it but no my own thoughts). I will however certianly keep your daughter and all the children in my prayers. Often the vacation bible schools are the only or at least first place that children learn about the Lord.

Well bible school is over, we had a good response of about 85 children attending VBS and we were very grateful to God for the profession of faith the kids did! Our youth did a wonderful work, God used them a lot.

My girls have asked me also if they could go back to Bible school agian this summer. It does make me happy they want to go.

Yes, they really learn a lot about Jesus. Thank God your girls liked their Bible school!

Thank you! This is her second year that she helps as a teacher and I am sure she will be used by the Holy Spirit very much! I am praying for her and all the teachers since almost all are youth persons. My daughter is 19.

Aww what a nice thing for your 19 year old to do. Today is the start of vacation bible school at the baptist church in town. My daughter loved it last year but today she didnt want to go. 5 minutes to 6 she finally gave in and decied to go. Now its just my son and I home until 8 then I will have to go and get her.I hope she is having a good time. I hope your daughter enjoyed the time she spent teaching at vacation bible school. She is probably around 25 now I'm guessing.
