I have noticed this a few times now where someone has put up a post which is asking for infomation or giving an sugestion on a subject. then next thing you know they are getting slated saying what a stupid thing or why are you being so daft. is it not better to just not post?

I agree with what the others have said - some people are just never happy and they do their best to make others as miserable as they are. I do my best just to ignore these people - there are too many good people here to be bothered with the bad.

I really don't understand this either. I can see disagreeing with someone, or even thinking their post is stupid, but I believe that if you are going to reply you should always do so respectfully. Usually if a discussion really offends me, I'll just skip it. It's easier than getting drawn into pointless fights, and it keeps my mylot time relaxing and fun, which is what I want. However, once in a while when I see rampant misinformation or ignorance, I will make a post saying how I feel about the topic. If I do so, I always make it as polite and respectful as possible, and I expect others to do the same when responding to me.

Sorry about some of the people my friend. It's best just to ignore them and focus on the fact that this is how they get their kicks. You're too busy enjoying you're life to notice them.

I have seen this and been subjected to it, I think that being rude or offensive is not cool. I think that it is unnecessary and people should not takes things as personally as they do on here sometimes. I hope things get better, but until then, we just need to ignore, or handle it with decency! =)

I have not seen the discussion you are talking about so I can't say for sure. However, it may be that the discussion is asking about something easier found using search engines. In this case, it is quite obvious that the person is just trying to get information the lazy way and earning for being lazy. Instead of searching for the answer himself, he just posts a discussion at myLot, do nothing to get the information and get paid for that discussion. That's why this category of poster is so wrong and I don't see anything wrong condemning them. Of course there are exceptions such as they have tried but can't find the information. We might all get lazy from time to time so it is alright if you do it occasionally. But if the majority of your discussions is this way, then you are not going to be much liked.:P

I was not talking about any 1 post inparticular but I just think there are ways of saying things. if I seen a post I did not agree with, I may past something but I would not get offensive in any way. I would make it clear what my views were and that would be that.
