no doubt celebrities are adopting children and sponsering them..but do you think it is really kind act, when they can donate millions and sponser education for alot of children...is this just fashion or it still has some value???latest case is of Madonna.they are no doubt showing people right way to fight poverty any high morality rate in non developed countries but i think they can do a lot more in addition to adopting....

Maybe they really want a child. They want to take it out of it's environment and provide a "better" one.

In my opinion celebrities should sponser as many childre as they can instead of adopting only one or two!

I think these celebrity adoptions can do some good even if it is only one child that is adopted. In most instances these celebrities are the ones who can afford to take their adopted child/ren to the country where they were born etc. And I believe that in many cases they do donate large amounts of money to the country they are adopting the child from, and mostly this money is used for orphanages or child related things.

hey is this time pass??? dont know but i think its major issue..many people take celebrities as there role model.so if they are adopting child, many people follows...but think the other way when in addition to child adoptation celedrities also donate money or starts funds raising camps....

I think we can let time (and God) be the judge to measure whether it is a truly kind act or not. Maybe it is because of their celebrity status that we pay more attention to what they do compare to other parents adopting children (even with the same amount in their bank account). And maybe they are called only to adopt some children and seeing from what you stated maybe it is you who are called to move people to donate and sponsor education or to fight poverty in these countries. Hope that you are =)
