Why? what makes Internet Explorer special to you? By the way, what version do you use? I heard there's a new Internet Explorer Version 7 or something. I use Mozilla Firefox. I find it with lesser hassles than Internet Explorer. Thanks though for replying. Happy Posting!

Oh really? That's a first. Usually I hear people complaining about Explorer being too slow on laptops. Then again, maybe the settings or the specs matters in this area. I use mozilla firefox in both my desktop and my laptops. They seem fine to me. What features are there that's great for Internet Explorer?

Thanks for the reply. How does one know truly that it is safe from online hackers? Have you had experience of being hacked before? Please tell us so that we'd know how to spot the difference. How long have you been using Mozilla Firefox. Have you also tried Internet Explorer?

I prefer Opera for browsing. It gives me optimum speed. Also it has some special features and the one that impresses me the most is speed dialing. But there are certain compatibility issues and thus I have to use Internet Explorer at times, but thats very rare. U can try Opera, I am sure you will like it..

I have no idea. My brother tells me, it's not advisable in our country to download IE 7 because it has a built-in program that doesn't allow installation of pirated softwares. I don't know. It's very rampant here so maybe most of the softwares won't work.

They say that the new Internet Explorer 7 has the integrated tabs as well. Have you considered trying it out? Give that all the features of Mozilla is also in Explorer. Would you want to switch?

Hi laydee. Currently, I am using opera as my main browser on the internet. It is nice, fast and safe to use. It has a speed dialing and when you try to go back from your previous visited pages, it will load so easily and quickly. This feature is very effective especially when you're in a forum. I am so impressed and grateful with its performance. I also used mozilla firefox and IE. I used them when opera cannot open a website that is only applicable for IE or mozilla. Anyway, I recommend mozilla and opera as the safest browser to use. Have a nice day and God speed!

This is the second time that I have heard about opera, I don't really get it that much because when I tried it couldn't open the pages or sites that I wanted to go. Anyways, maybe I'll need to have a second look at it soon. Thanks for the thoughts though, it has made me a little bit more curious about Opera. =)

Seems like most people here are Mozilla Firefox users rather than Internet Explorer. Your computer gets stuck with Internet Explorer? You mean it causes lags? That's the first time I've heard of such a thing. Maybe its has something to do with the specs of the computer you are using? Netscape I've tried a couple of times, but I still always go back to Mozilla. Netscape looks good by the way, but somehow, I never was comfortable with it. So I try switching back all the time.

I think Internet Explorer causes lags because it has so many things at one time. I mean, there's so many things going on in each window you open. With all those buttons and features you are not really using, right? Plus, I think Internet Explorer uses more pc memory than mozilla. Well, that's what I think. =)

What's good about Internet Explorer 7? Can you tell us the big difference of each? I'd be happy to try but I am lazy as of the moment. And since you're using it, give us some thoughts of the advantages of using one. Please. Thanks for the reply.

I am using the latest version of mozilla firefox. I have tie all the three that you mentioned, but among them all, i liked mozilla and it is the best i think. IE 7 is also pretty good, but mozilla is faster than the rest.

What is the newest version of mozilla? So you're saying that comparing mozilla's new version and IE 7, Mozilla still is faster? That's nice to know. So I won't need to try IE for myself. =)

Firefox. It corrects you and lets you know you have a spelling error or things like that. It's a really nice program.

In terms of being fast, yes I'd agree because it is really faster. In terms of safe, aside from the pop-up blocker what else is there that makes it safe?
