While it's a blessing to have dryers, especially during the rainy season, there's still something more comforting watching your clothes hung out to dry. The breeze, the scorching sun can blow away any excess germs and odors.

I'm so proud of you all. Getting back to the basics is the plan. I'm from the country and I love the simplier things in life. You all have put a warm spot in heart. Thank-you all.

I hang all our shirts out and then fluff them in the dryer before I put them in the closets.

Yes, not on a regular basis but during the late Spring and early Fall in Canada you can't beat the smell of clothes hung to dry in the outdoors.

I only use a clothes line if I am drying a lot of sheets or blankets. I tend to be bothered by the allergens in the air.

I don't right now because I have free access to a washer and dryer... but I'm sure that when I'm living on my own I'm going to be doing everything possible to save a little money... and that probably means hang drying my clothes.

It does help save money, and if the clothes are stiff, I throw them in the dryer to fluff! Thanks for responding.

To be honest i only hang mine out when my dryer is broken besides that i use the dryer. The dryer really comes in handy when i forgot to watch my clothes and need to do it real quick.

I don't hang them outside, because it rains too much here, but I let them hang to dry all over the inside of the house. I love the smell of freshly washed clothes drying in my home.

Dryers aren't typical for a lot of places in Europe. We have facny drying racks that either stand like a table of hang over the door. Also there are drying lines outside the balcony.

Difficult question because it has many aspects..i mean an answer. In terms of work environment, opportunities to create organisation..Netherlands is so much adavenced compare to greece. However let's say if i had the mean to survive i.e. descent income..i would not change greece for anything in this world.

I think that clothes off the line smell so fresh so I like it but if you live where there are skunks around you want to keep an eye out.
