I used to be a Windows user, and never even gave a thought to Apple Macs... but then that glorious day came when my boyfriend came home with a second hand mac... and my life has never been the same, lol! I can't believe how much better macs are compared to windows, they are so reliable - no viruses, they don't crash, nothing goes wrong, and all your files stay where you put them (cos I'm sure my windows PC used to eat my work!)... all the software is specifically designed by Apple, so everything just works, like it says on the advert! No incompatibility, no errors... everything just runs smoothly, and makes my life much less stressful (I don't know how many times I wanted to launch my PC out the window for crashing!)... I just wish they weren't so expensive!

I know what you mean, it's so different from using windows that it's hard to get used to at first, but once I got used to it I found it so much simpler. If you do buy a mac, and if you can afford to buy a brand new one, they have Intel Core2Duo, which means that you can run windows on there as well, and you can have the best of both worlds! :o)

I use an Apple Mac to be honest, it's what you get used to and to be honest if I had a choice I far prefer to use a Mac, Mac's are less likely to get a virus and are not subject to all the problems PCs get. I also do a lot of maps which uses an illustrator package only compatible for Macs. I know there is a lot of software out there that you cannot get for PCs and a lot of downloads that you can't use. Personally a Mac for me.

Hi Wolfie For some reason I had this bad idea that mac is hard to operate but now I am getting some pisitive attitude towards using mac from your reply friend. So I am sure I will go for mac next time and I am more interested as mac is safe than PC when it comes to virus things It is beeing helpful for me

I'm more of a Windows fan myself. One of my old roommates used to have a Mac and I hated it. Of course it was a piece of crap old Imac so maybe I don't have much to go on. But I've never had any problems figuring out Windows and it's always been really user friendly.

Windows! Cause that's what I have been using since I have met a computer. haha! Of course its user-friendly for me cause its what I have been used to. :D I haven't used Mac so if given a chance to use it, then I might have a hard time to familliarize its environment since I'm used to Windows environment. :D
