Where did your marriage take place? a Hall, house or temple?

My marriage took place in a marriage hall. Whenever I pass through that hall or go to that hall for some marriage, I get nostalgic memories. Where did your marriage take place? In which city, whether in a Hall, House or Temple or like now-a-days marriage, on the plane or ship?

I got married in a sleezy little chapel with a drive thru, it was a last minute wedding, we plan on having a real wedding in my grandmas back yard.

My best wishes for your real wedding at your grandma's back yard by which I am sure your Grandma will feel very happy to have her grand child's wedding in her own house's back yard.

My grandma is excited but not as excited as my great grandma, she always told me she can't wait to see me grow up and get married.

I got married in the community room of my mother-in-law's apartment building. It was just big enough for out simple wedding and was easier on us since we didn't have to move everyone for the recepation afterwards.

My marriage took place at my best friend's house. We had considered having it outside, but the weather wasn't nice enough, and we wanted to have our wedding at a place that meant something to us. Since our friends fill the role that for most people relatives play, it was the perfect choice for a place to have the wedding. It was really nice of our friends to let us use their home. They decorated everything so nicely, and took care of so many details for us. It will always be a beautiful memory for me. =)

Blessed are you both to have got your marriage performed in your friend's house. Such a true and loving friend would have sincerely wished you both a happy life and such wishes come true. My wishes to your friend too.

A simple marriage with natural scenary and simple arrangements with no paraphernalia. If all the marriages are performed like this, pompous expenditure will be avoided and that money can be utilised for new family set up.

We were married Islamically in a 1 room apartment. That is where we made a verbal contract with each other. We had some of his friends and family there. His brother officiated it. That was in Casablanca, Morocco. Then we were officially married in Nouakchott, Mauritania, his home town. I wasn't even present. His cousin actually works with the marriage certificates. He took our information to work with him. He did up the certificate and then brought it to us. Once he gets his visa to the US, we are going to have an actual ceremony for my parents. But it's gonna be simple in a park somewhere.
