Today is my Birthday! Where's the Cake?

Well, today I turn 37. I'm wondering where all the time has went! It doesn't seem that long ago that I was graduating high school. But time flies by quickly. My husband told me to pick out someplace I wanted to go to dinner tonight, my choice. But when I mentioned a few places I wanted to go, he didn't sound to enthusiastic about them. So by this evening, I may be throwing myself a pity party. LOL Do you get disappointed at birthday time? Does your hubby or kids fix you cake or do anything special?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! You share the same birthday as my daughter! I have gotten used to no cakes on my birthday unless someone does it by surprise and it isn't my family usually. I try to take time for me on my birthday and we go out to eat. Usually the kids pick the place*L* So do something special just for you today and it will make it a wonderful day no matter what anyone else does!! Have a great one!!

Well, Happy Birthday!!! I wish I was still just 37. lol. My wife will sometimes fix me a cake but my birthday falls within a week or two of three of her kids and grandkids so sometimes I dont need anymore cake by the time it gets to my turn. lol. Other than that I usually dont celebrate my birthday. Take care and enjoy your day, Terry

Thanks for the Birthday wishes! My anniversary is on July 10th, my brother-in-laws birthday is July 11th, and my hubby's birthday is July 13th, so we are close on celebrations also.
