The weather has somewhat gone all funny on us here in Virginia. One minute the sun is shining and it's 93 degrees and the next thing you know it's raining, thundering and lightening :( My son and I were on our way out the door to take a bus ride to the kids area at the Mall and low and behold it starts to rain as soon as we stepped out. We kept on walking until the thunder started and we immediately turned around and ran back into the apartment block. It doesn't seem like it's going to stop anytime soon. So much for us going out today!!!! How is the weather where you are now? Does it often change as quickly as it did for us today?

weve had those days before where one min the sun is shining then it starts raining funny because a lot of times that happens theres no sign of it going to rain but usually when it rains it rains for a few seconds sometimes we get heavy thunder and just a lot of rain that will last for a few min its just weird how the weather works a lot.

Very weird. We waited 30 minutes then managed to catch the bus to the Mall. As soon as we got there it started pouring with rain again. When we were ready to leave and come home it was quite nice and the sun was out again. Thanks for responding arcidy!

It's been sunny, hot and humid here in southern Ontario. Was like that most of the day but with a breeze. Now at 4pm the sun has completely disappeared behind white clouds and the wind has picked up. We could be in for some rain. I hope we don't get the tornadoes Manitoba has been faced with over the last week.

Yup your right, I don't like using the A/C either and would prefer the doors and windows open, however it is still very humid outside, currently 88 degrees. Thanks for responding sidoney!

I did see such weather here in Singapore. One minute it is cold and windy and raining, the next minute, it will be so warm and hot. The weather is so hot today such that the water from the tap is hot too even though the sun has set hours ago. I am beginning to get immuned to the weather. At times I predicted it will rain since the sky is so gloomy, but the sun decide to be happy and shine at its strongest. When I thought it will be a sunny day and bring out all the clothes, lol. the rain decide to help me rinse them.

I had not realised how hot it was until I stepped out on the balcony - whoof like a heatwave and rushed back inside. Just as well we have aircon but I don't like the aircon so we just use the ceiling fans. Thanks for responding agnescav and hope you get some rain there too soon!

we live in wisconsin, and i have to say its been pretty nice. i have only had to turn on the air a couple of times., but hardly any rain. the crops need it. but, you, in virginia, wow i love it there! we only get a good 3 months of nearly nice weather all of that time.. the rest we spend covered up! id take a little rain for more sunshine!

The weather in my country is always hot and humid. Summertime is over and thank goodness we are entering rainy season. It gives us a cooler air. Like what happened in your area, the weather here can be pretty erratic. For instance, the rain suddenly came down real hard and within 5 minutes, it stopped. No telling how the weather will turn out every minute.

Hello, maddysmommy,it is freezing here in sydney, the temperature is less than 10 degree at 5 am,it is raining as well, although i get a day off today,i just stay at home because i really do not like go out when raining. The weather in sydney is fluctuating, there is bug daily temperature difference, when you still see the sunlight, you will not feel cold, but temperature plunges after the sunset.

Oh, the weather in Gibraltar is gorgeous. It is sunny throughout most of the summer. Sometimes it will be heavy cloudy or windy but the temperature mainly is between 20- 27 degree C. As you may know it is a tropical climate, many tourists in Europe like to visit here in summer.

I live in NW N. Carolina, just a few minutes drive really from Virginia. When I went outside for my lunch break at 3 pm, it was so hot and humid it was hard to breathe, and it was thundering like mad. But we never got any rain. It's weird here, we will have sudden thunderstorms where it pours, then the sun will come out again. But today I was hoping the rain would hit us, yet it must have stayed in Virginia.

I am in Germany and this is like our weather here, too. It sounds very normal. That is the way it is this time of the year. I am very happy about the downpour. Rain is good, I have a garden and do not have to water the plants. And with thundershowers it is very good as most of the days there are enough sunny hours of the day. I am very happy with this type of weather. There is no bad weather, there is just the wrong clothes!

The weather was insane today, one minute it's nice and sunny so my feancee and I call a relistate agent to go look at a house. We leave here and driving to meet the agent we pass threw a storm that lasted maybe a minute. Then waiting for him in the parking lot it just randomly starts raining, really heavy, lighting the whole works, then suddenly stops. (This being in southern Virginia).
