who here has a savings account and which plan do you have? and does the ING direct plan really give 6% per month?

The highest I remember getting was a little over 3.75%, it might have come close to 4% at one point. I doubt it is over 3% at this point. But ING does offer the option of buying stocks and I'm leaning towards buying some energy stocks since the interest rate is down.

ING currently pays 3% interest for savings accounts.

I have a saving account with my regular bank. It only has a little more than a dollar in it right now. I don't know anything about ING, but my advice is that if it sounds to good to true; it probably is. Make sure you read the fine print!

Hi, junot111. I have an regular savings account at my bank. I am very unsure of what the ING means. You may need to contact a local bank for this type of information.

I have an ISA paying 3.25% tax free. And yes im sure ING did pay that, although now it was much lower, and it probably uncluded a 12 month bonus rate so the rate would be less competitive after 12 months.
