If you have to go shopping would you rather go alone or go with someone?

I always go shopping alone. I am used to it. I carry everything myself. I am happy that nobody interferes with my decisions. I do not have to argue with anybody about taste. I can go home whenever I feel like it. This way is no muss no fuss.

Good point! I like to shop with someone all the time whether it be my hubby or a friend or my "adopted daughter" I like someones opinion on things and just the company. I don't like being alone when I am out somewhere but will go by myself if I need to. I don't make a big deal about it. I do prefer to be by myself if I am in a hurry. :)

I go shopping with my wife every week, and although it's not really an enjoyable chore, she needs my help, and it is time we can spend together. Like you, for personal items, and single interest items, I'd prefer to shop alone.

Likwise,when talking about grocery i and my hubby will do the shopping but when i wanted to buy something for myself i do it by myself, cause i dont want someone is waiting for me and be annoyed.

depends on what i'm shopping for, if i'm shopping for a chick outfit cause of a party i'm attending, then i'll have my friends go with me. it's fun shopping together with your friends.. but if i'm shopping for something i need to give my bf for our anniversary? then i'll shop on my own, cause it's something special and i dont want to get others opinion, whatever i decide to buy for my significant other, at least i know it came from my heart and from me alone

I don't really mind shopping alone. But I do prefer shopping with someone coz I like asking their opinion on stuff... like when I'm buying clothes and such.

I have never done the shopping alone.Always with my wife.Out of habit or out of fear of my wife i do not know.

I much prefer to go any sort of shopping by myself, I always find other people dilly daaly and just take too much time, plus I have also found other people encourage me to buy things I don'e really want and being a pretty good spender that is something I don't really need...

All I want is to be with my boyfriend wherever I go. But if the situation is like I'm single. If I'm going to do some shopping, I would rather go alone. Just like you, I'm very choosy and it takes a long time to decide on what to buy. For a window shopping, I prefer going with someone. And in a grocery store, it doesn't matter if I'm alone or not, unless I have to buy something I can't carry and need someone to help me.

shopping for me is my alone time. i get to spend time with myself. of course i also love the company of friends when going shopping, but there are times i'd prefer to go alone and just stroll. exploring my surroundings make me feel refreshed once in a while. also like you, i'm very picky and i can't stay in one shop specially if i'm not interested with the clothes. i always like to move around. i don't like to waste the time of my friends so i usually just shop alone.

When I go grocery shopping I like to take my children with me, mainly because I let them choose what kind of meals I will be preparing for them. It is really hard sometimes when I prepare a meal and none of them want to eat it…lol…I end up throwing it away because even if I put it in the fridge, I would still end up throwing it out after a while. When I go shopping for clothing, I leave my kids at home because they tend to choose the clothing with characters on them…lol…Don’t get me wrong Spiderman, Pokemon, Dora and strawberry shortcake are all cute characters but I just don’t like them on clothing or shoes. With that being said; to answer your question, it all depend on what I am shopping for:)

I like doing the grocery thing myself. But totally enjoy shopping with my friends for all the other stuff. Most of my friends and I are interested in the same things so it's easy to shop with them, even for clothes.

Hi I usually have one of my kids with me when I shop for food or anything else for that matter. I like to have someone to shop with, I like to get a second opinion when I shop for things like jeans.

It depends on the type of shopping. I never like to go shopping for anything with my parents! I do like to go clothing shopping sometimes with a friend because he helps me pick out nice clothes. If i go grocery shopping for my dorm, i like to go myself

I like to go shopping by myself all the time. Because if other people come along they always rush me. Then I forget to get things. I dont like to be rushed.

I want to go shopping with my partner and my kids, I want to share with them simple moments and pleasure like that. We plan what we are going to buy ahead of the schedule grocery or during the grocery itself. I guess its good to hear from my husband his opinion regarding what im going to buy. I like it that way.

Alone,alone,alone. no doubt. Too much talking and looking for the person if you happen to get lost, but then again, it is good to have someone to remind you of stuff and all.

I like to go shopping with my sisters because we all share the same tastes.Now I usualy go with my friends but they are good too and also mostly better than me because they choose better clothes for me.When I am alone,it is hard for me to decide what to buy because I need someone else's perspective on how a dress looks on me,whether it suits me and my personality or not.I guess I am picky but then I have not really shopped for clothes in the past 6 months.maybe I'll go tomorrow:)

you have a point there and moreover it's good to have a companion in case of any disagreement or help as you said and also your companion can also give some suggestion on somethings to do which might not come to mind. two heads are better than one.

My sons usally accompany me when I go shopping.
