Well honestly I can say I do both just about equally, however some days I'll email more to communitcate at opposed to texting with my cell phone, but then again some days it's the complete opposite. So if you had to choose between text messages or email which way would you prefer to communitcate with those you talk to the most?

Emailing as its always free. Text messaging on my cell phone is limited to a certain amount of texting and there after I get charged, so i would choose email any day!

I do both but I tend to use my cell more than anything to text exspecially while I am working. I also have found it to be a great communicator with my kids. So I really enjoy it.

I would choose to communicate by email as it is free and much more convenient for me. Moreover i am more used to sending emails so i would prefer that. While test messaging i have not used much and amnot good at it and one is charged for it too.

Hey CR619, I like to mass text a hello to every mobile # on my phone just to let my friends & family know they are in my thoughts. However, for those I communicate w/ the most I'll phone them for the others I prefer to text but I can't take away from email b/c I email my family (the ones I don't talk to) rather than text them even though a few of their numbers are in my cell. +'s 2 U :D

Considering the fact that I don't have a cell phone, only my husband does, I will have to stick with e-mail as being my choice for communicating with friends and family. Plus from what I hear texting can be a real pain, unless a person has done it for a long while and is use to it. But for beginners it is slow and time consuming.

I rather email but I have some few friends that text me through my emails in case they can't reach me since I am online (dial-up) it helps when they do that and I sent them message back to their text phones. (cell phones)

I prefer e-mail. Text messaging on my phone is pretty expensive and it takes forever to write out the message. It's simpler for me to use e-mail, instead. I can check that on my phone, too, but I don't want to because it costs extra.

I like emailing better myself. I guess because it's not using up minutes when I am emailing someone.

I would choose email to communicate with those that i talk to the most. I only ever sent one text message ever and that was to see if i could figure out how on my mobile phone. I dont like text messaging it is expensive where i live and i find it hard to use and if the message is lenghthy forget it.

I still prefer to call ofcourse to my hubby... but on your given choice i will prefer texting since texting is more easy and portable unlike with computer and it is fast unlike email the person you sent the email will only receive it when he log on to the computer. here in philippines we almost use text thats why philippines is the text capital of the world...
