I just got this recipe from a carry-in recently: Orange Smokies 1 package of Lil' Smokies 1 c. brown sugar 1 T. flour 1 T. mustard (try flavored or dijon varieties. plain yellow isn't as good) 1 T. vinegar (cider vinegar works very well) ¼ c. orange juice concentrate (do not dilute) Mix together all but smokies until blended. Add smokies and sauce to crock pot and cook on high 1 hr, or low 2 hrs.

I live in a shared student house, and we just had a new girl move in with us. On her first day, she made us all chocolate brownies, and they were sooo good! So I asked her for the recipe - and now I'll share it with you! You will need: * 200g dark chocolate * 125g butter (at room temperature) * 225g caster sugar * 2 eggs * 1 egg yolk * 150g plain flour * a pinch of salt * 1tsp baking powder What you need to do: * preheat the oven to 180 degrees C or gas mark 6 * melt the chocolate (I usually do this by putting the bowl of chocolate into a bowl of boiling water - using a saucepan tends to burn it) * mix together the butter and sugar, then mix in the eggs. * Stir the melted chocolate into the mixture * Add the flour, salt and baking powder, and mix thoroughly * Pour the mixture into a baking tray that has been lined with foil * bake for 20-25 minutes - when ready, the middle of the brownies should be gooey, not spongy like a cake. And that's how you make fantastic chocolate brownies! if you like coffee-chocolate brownies, you can mix in a couple of teaspoons of instant coffee to give it a bit of a kick! :o)
