What's the difference between xbox 360 and ps3 and which should i buy?

I'd be wary of any CNN articles surrounding the PS3. Given the business relationship between Sony and CNN, I'd take everything that CNN has to say about Sony products with a grain of salt. Likewise, I'd do the same for any MSNBC article about the Xbox 360. With that particular article mentioned in the previous answer, please note that CNN issued a retraction on some of the information that was provided regarding the costs of the PS3 (See the bottom of the article). This casts doubt on the integrity of some of the other facts mentioned.
