Meet Alena Sophia...

After been away from mylot for more than a week...am back and have a great news to share. I gave birth Wed to a healthy baby girl. We named her Alena Sophia. She is 7.8 oz and 19 1/2 inches. We are all enjoying her and am still taking it slow because I had 3 needles in my spine from an epidural shot. Still sore but finally am so happy today that me and the baby finally was able to go home. I miss mylot and even though I won't be spending so much time these coming days, but will be answering discussions. I love it here....

She is adorable! Congrats! Soak her in, and don't worry about mylot, we'll be here waiting for you when you can get back.. Babies are so precious!

Oh congratulations, and what a lovely little little baby she is, you must be overjoyed and to come back to Mylot so soon after your big day, we Mylotters should feel very proud that you have come back so soon to share your joy, she really is beautiful, thank you for sharing, take care of that little junior Mylotter...

AWWWW. She is cute!! Congrats to you and your family!! And I love the name! My cousin just had a baby girl the 21st. Unfortunatly she lives far away so I cant be there. But I will get pics!!!

Congratulations! I really was thinking of you with the upcoming July 4, as what u told me ur due date... anyhow, great to know that both of u are doing good. I will be her online ninang... And guess what? I think I got baby dusts from u! ha haha .... I'm 5 weeks now and expecting on Feb. Hope thing would go smoothly.

Congratulations on your new arrival, i hope she brings you all the love in the world.
You'll be very surprised at home much free time you'll have though, they recommend not cleaning & stuff when she naps so you can sleep but still, newborn's will sleep for like 20 hours a day :) You'll still have a bit of time to yourself, when you're not napping, to jump on here & give everyone updates etc.
Again, congratulations & hopefully your daughter will be as quiet & easy pleased as my daughter WAS when she was born!

Thank you so much. I wish I got enough Mommy time for now coz my back is still bothering me from those epidural shots but I got a 3 years old who also demanded my time. But this is part of being a parent...so am enjoying it as much as I can. Thanks for the comment again...=)

Congratulations to you and your family. That little angel is so adorable! Hope that Big Sister gets a lot of attention too, so there won't be any sibling rivalry! (Or at least not too much, LOL!) The name you gave her is pretty and unique--is it a variation of "Elena?" Anyway, try to get a lot of sleep and rest, because you won't be sleeping much for the next 18 years! hahahaha! :-}

Thank you so much. This is my second one...I got a 3 year old daughter and she thinks Alena is a doll...she doesn't want her taking a nap because she wanted to play with her. I think she was not thinking that little sister means a wailing baby and can't play dolls with her...=) She is adjusting big time but she is Mommy's little helper.
