OK so believe it or not its really up to you. Today my husband and I were at a friends house. He looked st me and said Rayne I dont feel good. I could see that he was not OK because his lips were white. I got scared and started to call his name. He would not move and just kinda stared off into space. I was fanning him and my friend was giving him a drink of tea because she thought he had low blood sugar. Anyway here is what makes me say he had a near death experience. His father passed away a few years ago. And he was looking kinda hollow and talking in Spanish and laughing. I was a bit worried and was telling him to talk to me and come back to me and the kids. He then looked at me and said he was OK. I kept asking him to talk to me and and that is when he told me he saw his father. I believe he was trying to cross over and his father told him it was not his time. Now if I could only get his stubborn butt into the hospital and get tests run on him. I have told him if he does not make an appointment I will tell his mother. I think he will do it because he will not want to upset his mother. I now find myself worrying more and caring a lot more. I dont know what I would do without this man.

Why didn't you call 911? next time something like this happens call 911 and make him go to the hospital. This is coming from an RN. I do not know if he was having a heart attack or a stroke. He sounds like he needs to see his doctor. If he is diabetic he can have what they call a silent heart attact which is a heart attack without any pain. Please get him in to see his doctor. You need him so do the four kids. They are so young to lose their dad.

I didn't call 911 mainly because my friend does not have a phone and his cell phone was in his pocket I could not get to it. I wanted to call when he came to and he would not let me.

Oh no I don't know what I would of done, maybe called the medics or something. I know I would of freaked. I have never experienced anything like this before and I hope I never do. Keep hassling him about getting himself checked and if you need to, get his mother involved. I don't know what it is but my husband is stubborn when it comes to seeing the doctors too. He just refuses when he is sick and prefers that I take care of him. I hope you are able to at least get him checked! good luck!

Wow, that's incredible! I bet that was so weird for him. I couldn't imagine having an experience like that. I bet it really puts life in perspective now. I'm so glad that he's okay now and hopefully he'll go to the doctor.
