have your computer ever disappointed you?

I bought a new laptop to avoid going to the netbar and waiting to get to my turn.
My friend installed English software for me and my school connect the internet for me but for about a month it's speakers stop working or the server can't be find have often been the problems i've been encountering and out of mylot for about a months. i travel to my friend for the correction of these problems and so i spent approximate 100yuan($12.80) and i went to him every two weeks coz when he takes the computer to check, i've to go back to work without it and later go back for it when he finishes. i spent more that $150.00 travelling up and down for this computer.
Have your computer ever given you problems like mine?
To laugh at it, i told my friend i was coming there and he said he doesn't want to hear me saying i will come there coz i give him problems. He bought the computer as well coz he knows something about them and the quality. mine HP brand.

When you bought the new laptop did it also come with a warranty plan or support service in case you encounter problems? No offence to your friend but I would make use of the warranty and support service staff that the company may have offered to you when you bought the laptop. They may have given you a faulty laptop, or else the programs that were loaded onto your laptop may not have been compatible to the windows program you are using.
We recently bought a new laptop and I have a years warranty and have access to a support service or technical staff to talk to if I encounter any problems. I have yet to use them but if I need to I will (unless my husband gets to it first because he is a IT Specialist).

Where's the computer made? You should be keen on where it was manufactured. Plus Yeah I do get problems with both my desktop and my laptop but not like yours where you have repeated problems. Don't you have friends that are closer to you? Or if you can you should at least know the in and outs of the laptop.
Instead of him fixing it. You should try to look and analyze how he fix the laptop so that if the same problem occurs, you can do it yourself. Or maybe hire a professional to do it.
