Do you bring a bottle water along with you?

Do you carry a water bottle with you? - Do you carry a water bottle with you where ever you go?

The weather is rather hot nowadays here. The cold water in the flasks are fast running low, much faster than the water can get cold. I would fill them into water bottles and dump some into the fridge. Whenever I am about to go out, I have the habit of grabbing one water bottle before I leave the house and would bring along with me the bottle of water which is about 500ml. This is to supply me with water when I am out and have no access to free water. I am a water barrel and cannot live without water for more than an hour. Last time, I do not have the habit of carrying a water bottle from home. I used to buy a bottle when I am outside. However, I realised the extra expense after a month or two, and I find it more economical to bring water from home. I invest in a water bottle. I will fill it with water daily and and carry it in my bag. Friends, do you bring along a water bottle with you when you go out? How big was your water bottle? Do you specially buy the water bottle solely for the sake of bring out water with you?

Unless I am really very thirsty or really need some water, I will not buy any mineral water from outside. It just feels stupid - though I have done it several times on occasion. If I have a bag with me and I think I am going to be out long, I will usually put a bottle of water in the bag. If I don't have a bag, then of course I won't bring any water with me. I will just need to get a drink outside if I am too thirsty. Cheers.

Hi bighead. Singapore is still hot? Summertime is over now and we are entering the rainy season. The air is much more bearable and cooler. As a matter of fact. its raining lightly here. I always consumed 2 pitchers of water everyday. That's around 2500 ml. I have my own water flask which I carry around whenever I go out. Be forewarned though that the plastic bottle you're using is not safe to use for very long. I heard from a source that the plastic bottle has infused chemical that's not good for our health. Better buy a water jug which is safer to use. Try the Rubbermaid brand. Good quality and durable as well. :)

I find it extremely hot these few days even though it rains occasionally. I prefer to hide myself in aircon rooms :p I no longer use the mineral water bottle. I check the "quality" digit. I go for 7. Hopefully it is safe enough. Rubbermaid - I think I saw it before, not sure. I will check it out if I go shopping tomorrow. I thought Tupperware would be better buy since life time warranty. LOL.

Hi whyaskq! I always bring a water bottle with me wherever I go, a 500ml bottle is good if I am bringing a backpack with me. It is really advisable to bring one, whether you are working or just roaming around. Keeps you hydrated. Though later on, I would willingly buy a bottle so long as it is cold, and my packed on is not anymore. But making sure that I am buying from a reputable store, since there are alot of fake mineral water bottles peddled on the street. If I am bringing a smaller bag, a 250ml water bottle is enough. I am not for those special types of water bottles, the mineral water bottles do just fine, and I change it every now and then, because it does not eat much space in my bag. In my work area though, I have my own water jug, and I easily fill it up when I go to the pantry. Even for just sitting down and working, you still need some water. Sometimes I swap it for juice or coffee. :) Cheers!

I was told the mineral water bottle should not be recycled for more than twice as most mineral water bottle are not meant to be recycled.

I recycle the mineral bottle until 2 times, I think *smile* . After washing it with soap and water, I usually put hot water in to clean in further. Doesn't hurt me at all :D You would be in danger of diarhea, if you leave your mineral water bottle exposed to sunlight for a long time. Our water bottles are usually kept inside the bag, beyond the sun's reach. When I do my groceries, I already buy a set of small mineral water bottles, and put one or two in the refrigerator for me to take out and use in the future. During the day, when I use up the water already, I will just got to the nearest mineral water dispenser and fill it up again, at the end of the day, I have to wash the bottle out. A mineral water bottle is more ideal for me to keep in the bag other than those special bottles we buy, because of space reasons.

I carry around a 20 oz bottle of water with me. The other day, at work I drank 2 of them and then a 32 oz bottle of water and realized I still had not gone to the bathroom in over 10 hours. So obviously when it is warm, I am still not drinking enough. You are right, you can go broke buying a bottle of water, we have a water cooler, it is about $5 for a 5 gallon jug...it seems to work pretty well for us.

Lately I have been taking two bottles, one for me and one for my son to drink along the way. Its been rather hot and we get thirsty quite quickly, especially my son. If we finish those then I tend to buy more water depending on how often we drink and need it.

It depends on where am I going. If I just wanna go out for a walk, hell, no water at all. But, if I am going to some places with my friends, which requires a lot of energy and time.Iwill sure take one with me.Usually, I would buy some from grocery store, which is very convienent, and it costs only 1 RMB to get a bottle of purified water.

Well, that's cheap. In Singapore, the cheapest is 40 cents for a 500 ml bottle.

I carry a bottle of water with me to work everyday. I don't usually take a break or go to lunch. I do always bring along something like a nutri grain bar or 100 calorie pack to snack on, but I've never been much of a lunch person. Whenever I'm going to go out somewhere that I know i'll be gone for a while or outside I'll usually bring some water along with me. I use the plastic bottles...it's a lot of money in the long run but I'm picky about water and only like deer park. I re-use the bottles too. I just haven't found a re-usable water bottle that I like that much yet.

it is healthy to drink 2L water everyday,i guess you have done it,and i agree with you about carring a bottle of water when you are outside.it also cut the cost about drinking, but for one thing must be noticed,in the hot weather these day,i advise you can mix some salt into the water, that your body can absorb completly.

Add salt? I know it helps to relieve heatinesss but dieticians are advising against eating salt as salt will cause blood pressure to go up.

I never used to carry a water bottle earlier and would just buy one when I needed. But with the kids, it's difficult to rely on water outside...and I now carry one bottle for hubby and me (I hardly get any of it because my hubby is a water guzzler, like you) and one each for the kids. The older one takes care of his own bottle of water while the younger one's is carried by me in the baby bag.

Sometimes I do and it depends what I am doing. If I am exercising, doing yardwork or at the beach then I bring some bottles of water with me because I don't want to sweat. I always buy my bottle water. I never drink water from the tap. I find it not healthy for you

YES, as much as possible. Though bottled water may not be that expensive here in our city (Manila). You still save alot more by bringing your own water everytime you go out. I dont drink that much water so most of the time I put it in the car and drink during the ride or when I go back to the car and go home. Though sometimes I forget to bring water bottle out, I try to since its more economical than buying water. And if I'm with my kid, I usually have water to give her a drink since she dont drink that much either.

I always bring a water bottle along with me when I leave the house. I usually use the bottle to drink from when I am home as well. I fill it from gallon jugs that I keep in the fridge. My bottles range in size from 1/2 liter to 1 liter.
