Does anyone feel that software job will affect the personal life

Is it true that working in software companies will make a person get more stress and latter on affect the family members? Please help me know this since i want to choose my career soon

I don't know from first hand experience but I was reading an article in my class written by a computer programmer about how fustrating computer programming can be and how you will begin to think and talk in code and loose all preception of a real life and instead be working out of a cubical for the rest of your life. It might have been exaggerated, but I get the impression it wasn't a very good job.

Ohh. even i have seen these articles. Is this true. One person replied to this discussion that he really loves his job and there is no problem he has with his family. Now i am in a dilemma as to whom to trust.

Welcome to myLot!! Yes software field defenetily brings you lot of stress..But i dont think it will affect family..The company which you are working plays a main role here...I am asscociate with a software company and i really enjoys my job and earn more money..Happy Postings!!

u r lucky man, Well may i know what are the companies where we can demand our favourite areas of interests to work with? So that even i can enjoy working
