For me, ice cream is for all seasons and justified by any reason! I eat ice cream to celebrate, to commiserate, when I feel good, when I am bored, whenever I feel like it--which is often! And I am really glad that you can get diabetic ice cream in several yummy flavours from Baskin Robbins, because then I feel less guilty. :-0

Of course, there are birthdays in the winter and holidays where ice cream is good with pies and the like. We even made snow ice cream last year. Seasons do not dictate what we eat anymore. Fruit is available year round now and so we can eat off the food chain easily. Why not ice cream?

Yes, I have ice cream at any time of the year, including winter. Even though it might be really cold outside, inside our homes its cold and there's nothing better than a little cold ice cream to cheer me up. It's my comfort food.
