...hubby and I are watching "You See Me Laughing". It's about some old "backwoods" blues singers... It's a 2003 documentary of interviews with home and clubs footage. You get to see a little of their lives.. I've seen it about three times since 2003, and feel like I know some of these guys! (And gals.) Especially R.L. Burnside.. - Shucks, it's over! Great show.. watch it if you ever get the chance!:)

That does sound like a really neat and interesting show! =) I often feel like I love people that I don't know. Usually it's writers that I've read a lot of, or people whose lives I've seen a lot about on t.v. or whatever. Sometimes it's even people that I hear about through my friends, that are friends of theirs. One of my coworkers has one really colorful friend that I have never met, but whom she talks about constantly, and I feel as if I know and love her sometimes! =p

..ah yes! writers.. I forgot about them. I love Dean Koontz.. gonna write to him someday.. as he includes an address at the end of his books.. My daughter will often tell me of friend's plights and hardships and sometimes grave illnesses. I feel she does this knowing I'll say a little prayer and blessing for them.

I don't think I will love people that I don't know. But I will have a concern over a community, a care towards a nation and stuff like that. That's my opinion in this discussion. Thanks!

I know what you mean. You can find people, especially people you want to be around but can't find in your vicinity, that you really like. I often see that as the case in my life as I don't have the chance to have much of a life at the moment and sometimes see on the box people that I wish I could be more like as they accomplish their creative careers and I have landed to stay quietly at home with just a computer lol.

Yah, that's me too.. tho I do get to see our set(s) of good friends 2,or 3 times a year, my family once a year.. and hubby's every other month or so and for holidays. I'm very blessed that way. But otherwise I lead a very quiet life, most usually right here at the computer.. reaching out to the world (I guess). My favorite morning news show, feels like family! I'm prayin' for you kiddo! To have your husband physically present in your daily life, and lotsa money so less demand on both your time.

I suppose I would have to say yes to this - I try to love everyone, whether I know them or not.
