It is a truly shocking sequence of events - specially now that they have done a controlled explosion on a car at The Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley, where the man who was on fire is under police guard! xx

We have been following this in Australia very closely. As you would know, A Doctor has been arrested here in connection with the terrorist acts, particularly the one in Glaglow. The Police arrested him just as he was trying to flee the country at night. I find it amzing tht so many Doctors are involved. Does the medical profession require one to sign an oath to protect all life? We are only on moderate alert, the same as before, despite these latest terrorists acts & the connection in Australia.

it is a real shame because all dark skinned people are in fear because some people see that now and start abusing them , this world at the moment is not a nice place but we just have to try and get on with things as usually and try to be happy xx

It is so interesting to see the news articles from other countries that we can access here on myLot, thanks to our friends. I feel like I am so much better informed because of you and others my friend. It is hard to believe that people are out there trying to cause havoc in the world. It is scary. I do not fly very often. Can you blame me?

I saw that in the news last night as I was getting ready for bed and I remember the discussion you had. I think it's horrible and know these people had to be scared and hope nothing else goes wrong but you know there's something going on everywhere. Stay safe and have a great day.

Thank you for the link. I say nearly all ot on CNN the morning. They also explained that the term"Asian" was used but that did not mean as in relation to being an Oriental (Japanese, Chinese, ect.) Is this true?

I can't imagine how scared all of those people must have been. And all of those police officers as well. Thank God they got everyone cleared out of the way before that last explosion. It will be interesting to see if the men arrested give their reasons for committing such a terrible act.

This is just horrible. What are these awful people thinking when they commit these attrocious acts? I find it so difficult to forgive these terrorists and I despise them as much as I despise their actions. I just don't understand these things.

A sample terrorist - More and more people are aware of terrorists and the threat for them in recent years, when will it all stop?
I felt scared witless just hearing about this on the news the last few days, so I can't even imagine how much more scary it was for the people who were actually there. What a traumatic experience to go through. Those awful people doing these things really have no thought for the value of human life; they have no souls and as far as I'm concerned they should be locked away forever and the key thrown away. They do not deserve to live in civilised society with us! I feel more and more each day that they world is becoming a worse place to live BUT I won't be scared to leave my house or travel because of these selfish small minded IDIOTS!

This has been a terrible situation. I am glad no one else was hurt or injured. I was watching FOX news on SkyTV and found that they had reported more than BBC - who felt it far more important to keep showing Wimbeldon than to this story. xxx
