Harry Potter: What do you like/hate about it.

There are a lot of people out there who either love or hate te book. I personally love the book and both me and my daughter can't wait for it to come out. Yet there are people out there who hate the book. Why? Why do you love the book? Why do you hate it? Have you actually read? I don't know how many people either hate or love the book and have never read it. I mean they might not even look at the book and automatically hate it. Why? What is your opinion?

i love it becasue it keeps me on edge when reading the book...i will always want to read more of it as i get to a new chapter and will stay up all night just to read it.
people hate it becasue they either just dont like it or it gives them something to hate on...i guess

My daugther does the same thing if she can get away with it. Most of the time I can't find time to read but when the HP books come out either I make time to read them or have My daughter read them. In the end my daugther reads the book all the way through before I can even get to the frist chapter. Yet thats why I love the book. It keeps you in suspense and you don't want it to end.

No book is too bad as it seem. I like the book, not because it is harry potter but it is entertaining actually. It all depends on one's preferences.

I love the books for many many reasons, some of them are cause they are so well written, you really care about the characters and what happens to them,it keeps you guessing all the way, they're full of mystery and adventure, very funny in places, very imaginative and they really do whisk you away into a whole new world!
As for people hating them - i think it's either cause they just don't like fantasy fiction etc, or more likely they automatically hate them to try to be different to the mass millions who love them!
I don't know anyone who hates harry potter - a few of my friends refused to read them on principal, cause they were so popular, but have seen the error of their ways and love them now too!!

I love everything about! Especially because I have a huge crush on Daniel Radcliffe. haha Even though he has a beard and can smoke. I also don't believe that he really does smoke in real life. haha (share) well anyways, the stories just gives me life and inspiration. It's a great way for me to escape from reality by reading the books and watching the movies. I just really think it's a great contribution to human society. :)

there was a time when i wasnt very fond of harry potter, in spite of not havin read the books or even watched the films.. and then, out of curiosity, i watch the movie, and read book after book after book, and now i'm a harry potter junkie!! it definitely is very wrong to be judgemental bout books we've not read..

I love the books because they draw me in completely, making me forget everything else. I like most of the characters, if it were possible I'd like to meet them.
Some who hates the books are fundamentalists who thinks they promote Satan and/or black art. A former friend of mine disliked them simply because she disliked fantasy.

i love the twist and turns and the imaginative withing of JKR. she is a superb author. i also love it cos of the feeling of loyalty and friendship it advocates. The book is a must read for all people.
