What will you do?

Today is July 1st already; we have not booked a holiday yet, as my hubby will play with his band on every Monday; Thursday and Friday evening and sometimes Wednesday and Saturday evening as well. So he doesn’t have any intention to go anywhere for holidays in July and August. His excuse is it is too hot for these two months to go for holiday, he rather just go to the beach. When my daughter and I suggest going for holidays, he said we could go on our own. If you were me, what would you do? Book the holiday and go without him? Or put up with him, stay at home?

Umm I would book the holiday and go. Even if it is only for a couple of days I would do it. If he is not interested and you both are keen to do something, I would do it but that is me. He may resent me later but tough bickies, he had his chance to come and chose not to LOL There is more to life than playing in his band every day of the week, and giving up a week or even a few days to spend with his family is not asking much in my books!

Many thanks for your response. I have the same thought as you. Indeed I have put up with him enough. It is about time to do something my daughter and I want to do. Especially the money he makes from the band he keeps for himself (he has a full day time job). What is the point I carry on 'sacrifice my life'?

And he doesn't share what he makes with the band?!? oh I would not like that at all. Go and enjoy yourself with your daughter and make sure you have ALL the cards with you LOL
