Big dogs or little dogs?

My dog cuddles sometimes too, but she's a puppy still, so she is more or less just hyper right now. lol!

I have a pug too, I love pugs they are so sweet.

I have a chi I want a pug so bad can you tell me how much they cost?

big dogs scare me I have a chihuahua

can't find much scary about a chiuaua! But i'll bet he/she is really cute.

I love most all animals too. Couldn't imagine not having at least one around....

So I take it to mean that you like dogs that are 20 lb or more?

I love my little dog too. I got her from a breeder, even though I'm not really big on the idea of purchasing a dog when there are so many for adoption. In the past I have always adopted animals from the shelter. But this time I wanted to be sure that my dog would be small as I am now living in an apartment, and I don't think it's fair to a big dog to not have room for them to get the exercise they need. That said, the breeder this one came from was a little shady, and I almost walked away out of distrust, but this dog was very drawn to me, and all I could think was that I couldn't let that poor puppy be another one left in a 'puppy mill' so I took her home with me. My 4 yr old daughter loves her to pieces, and we are all very happy, so thankfully this story has a happy ending!

I had a black lab puppy (ha ha, like 50 lb puppy!) when I was pregnant. He was great, but he was really able to pull me around on the leash then. My husband at that time was afraid the dog was going to pull me over because I couldn't keep my balance so well then. But our little dog now, I don't have that problem w/her, she's all of 7 lbs.

Hey, thanks for the tip! I am new, so just figuring things out. I had two black labs before I got divorced, but the ex took them. So my daughter & I wanted a small dog, since we live in an apartment right now. I think it's cruel to have a big dog locked up all day in a small apartment & unable to get them the exercise they need. Our little dog gets tons of exercise just running back & forth across the den! lol!

I would like to post a pic, I just need to try to find one. Laci is hard to take pics of because she is mostly black (result of being 1/2 poodle) with only a white spot on her chest. So most pics of her end up looking like she has no eyes! If I can get a good one, I'll put it out there. Thanks!
