item you purchased but purchased the item anyway becuase you figured you may need or use that item in the future. My mothers husband use to do that, be past away this past December. He had purchased things that been sitting around hanging on the wall in the garage for 10, 20 30 years never been used.

I do do that but not to that extent. I do that with groceries and household items like t.p., laundry soap and what not. I also get things that we will need to clean or repair our rentals. It saves some money but I don't buy things just because I might need them

I don't want to buy anthing that is useless. I won't want to waste my money to buy something that I don't want. So no matter how nice price they are, if I don't want it, then it won't attract to me for its price.

I agree. But in this case as with my mothers husband. He would buy things that interest him, but did not need the goods he purchased, but only purchased the item in the event that he ever needed it.
