Leyte is a big province situated near Cebu and Bohol, bordering Samar and Biliran. The island is officially divided into two administrative provinces: Leyte and Southern Leyte. This is the place known for the landing of McArthur during the World War 2 againts the power of the Japanese Imperial Army. On recent memories, Leyte became famous for the Ormoc flashfloods and the recent tragic Southern leyte landslide, both killing thousands in total. We are also known as the place of the beautiful Lucy Torres, the wife of Richard Gomez. And of course, the official home province of the one and only Imelda Marcos (I hope she will give us some shoes here hehehe). So any members of myLots who come from Leyte here, raise your right foot (and please don't smell it, ok?).
