Well in todays world i think sitting and giving views on some others issue isnt productive enough and instead i feel u spoil your creativity in this proces.Think of sitting that much amount of time ad thinking something u really wanna do in life....You willdefinately come out with something more good...

I think it really depends on whether it's something you enjoy or not. Before mylot, I had been posting on forums for over ten years, just for fun, without seeing a penny for it. I enjoyed the friends I made on forums, enjoyed connecting with other people, learning things from them, that sort of thing! Online friendships have always been a large part of my social and emotional life! So for me, posting on mylot, where I have made many wonderful friends and had a lot of fun, is extra worthwhile to me! Because it's the same thing I enjoy doing anyway, only I also get a little bit of money for it. So far that money has gone to charity, but since I'm in dire straits over my health right now, it's going to wind up paying a bill next time. Sure, I also spend time thinking about things I really want to do in my life, but I'm also already doing many of those things. I have a job that I like (when I am well enough to go), a husband, a child, great friends... just because I'm online doesn't mean I don't also do anything else with my life!

well, this is purely subjective. while i appreciate your thoughts i hardly believe that money is not everything. money cannot be the substitute to the happiness i get here. i speak, i share, i cry, i laugh, i contemplate...and i earn. that is more than the worth. i have quite a few wonderful friends here who help me smile and get going. i am thankful to them. as far as the creativity is concerned, i think, i get to share whatever little creative i have inside. no other forum would better judge my creativity than this one where my input gets criticised, loved and acclaimed like anything. above all, when you get paid for something you love doing -nothing like it. isn't it?
