Have you noticed that when you respond to a discussion, it sometimes asks for tags and sometimes it doesn't? How does it decide whether to ask for tags or not? Is it based on the discussion tipic, the number of responses already given, whether ther tags on the original starting discussion?

Hello, stealthy!
Whenever someone responds to a discussion for the first time, it will ask for the tags to be added. If you add tags the very first time, it will not ask you again to submit tags even if you keep coming back to same comment of yours to respond to other comments made on your comment. But if you don't add tags the first time, it will keep asking you to add tags whenever you come back to respond to a comment made on your comment, until you add tags for your response. It will then not ask for adding tags. I hope it will be clear now!?:-)

Maybe it depends if there are a lot of tags already then they don't ask you for additional tags. Or maybe there's a maximum number of tags. Or maybe, if all the words in your title where already set as tags, then they don't ask anymore.
Yeah I was wondering too since I don't like adding tags, it just slows down the process.

That's a good question. I never really realized that until you brought it up. Good post! Unfortunately I do not have the answer to this question.
