why do people ask to make virus are they going to do something with it?

i am just wondering why people ask how to make a virus do they plan on doing something with it i mean like send it to someone to crash their computers or what do they really want it for? i've had my computer crash once sense i've gotten it from a virus i got from a webpage so i know it's not a fun thing to deal with.. but am wondering why... Anyone know?

yes ofcourse. how do u think dat viruses come into ur pc. they r all made by ppl to infect ur pc's. and i think dat d ppl behind all these various viruses r d anti-virus companies. they make a living out of it

The virus got into my computer cause i went and downloaded a file i thought was ok to download. Well i was wrong thats for sure it messed up all my icons and things on my desktop... And it also for some reason did something to my memory card than thats when i wasn't able to do anything with my computer i actually had to take it in and get it fixed.

i know.once u get a virus d only thing left to do is to get ur pc formatted
