bLack catS...(^.^)

In the old superstition,bLack catS should never be allowed to cross your path...can somebody tell me why?

this is just a superstitious belief. Black is associated with bad luck or danger. But cats has nothing to do with our daily life...

when a black ct cross your path, it is said to bring bad luck.

I guess I am cursed for life then...I have two black cats and for awhile I had 5 at a time...good thing I don't believe in bad luck.

It's because people used to believe that black cats were associated with witches and the devil. This was because cats can see in the dark and are hard to see. In fact, owing a cat - especially a black one - was seen as proof of being a witch.
