In big cities it has become a fad to eat out in hotels on sundays - as a result of that there are long ques outside the smallest hotel. Do you often eat out or do you like home made food like me ?

Hi, I like only home made food. Generally I do not eat anything outside. Of course I eat occasionally otherwise I take only home made food.

Hi there. I agree home made food is much better then bought food, you never know what the kitchen people have done to it before it gets to the person...

Hi there. We're a family that prefer to eat in the comforts of our home, therefore we enjoy home made food...

Hi there. I agree with you, there is no better place then the comfort of our own homes...

Who could ask for more than the comfort of your home, family around you and hot delicious home food - we even have that for birthday celebrations rather than going out to places where we have to be formal.

i live away from my parents so i have to manage my meals alone. right now, i live in a place that prohibits cooking. somehow i like the idea but sometimes i feel like cooking something though im not that expert. before i moved in to my current space, cooking is fine so i had the chance to cook whatever was that called hehe.. so now, i have to buy ready-made foods. we have canteen nearby thank goodness. when im in my parent's house, well of course we dont have to have take-outs on our dining table 'cause my mom cooks ever since my parents got married.her cooking is the best. =)

My mom is also the best cook - perhaps that' why I prefer home made food, restaurant food is good once in a while but any day mom is the best.

I like both. We generally don't have the money to eat out a lot, so we usually have to make our own food at home, but I do like to go to restaurants sometimes.

yes, I also enjoy going to restaurants sometimes but it is not a ritual like with many people to go out every Sunday evening.

Food - Do you like to eat outside or only home made food?
Dear dbhattji I love to eat outside .. but not everyday .. There is a very famous restaurant here in Delhi -- Sarvana which specialises in south Indian food and they used to serve mini idlies set of 5 .. which I just simply love. I don't eat Dosa .. but yes they prepare very tasty dosa too.. I cannot eat .. because it is very big and large in size .. lolz .. and and and there is always a long ques outside that hotel specially at lunch and dinner hours. I know home made food is good for health .. but sometimes we really feel like to eat something different:)

I also mainly eat south Indian dishes when we go out, because they are warm and less oily.

Any food will do as long as I enjoy other's company. I do like home-made food but sometimes, it's good to get out of the routine and just eat out. Not worrying what to cook and how to cook it. Just going to a place order, let others cook, and all you do is enjoy the meal, the company, and the place.

yes it is nice to have good food without the trouble of cooking, but would you wait in line for hours to get a table? Of course the company is very important when you go out to eat.

I never wait for hours for a table. No restaurant should allow people to wait. No food taste good when you are tired waiting in line. It's just not worth it. =) Have you tried waiting in line for food? When and why did you bother waiting?
