When you see a stranger staring at you, do you smile or give a dirty look?

Well I was at the grocery store today and I noticed a stranger staring at me! At first I looked at my cloths to see if I had anything loose or hanging out….lol..But then I was looking okay!I proceeded to the back where the frozen food where and as I turned the corner, he was staring at me again! I simply just gave a dirty look and walked to the cashier.
How about you, when you notice a stranger staring at you, do you smile or give a dirty look?

Hi there. When I see a stranger smile at me, I try to read there expressions, to see if there friendly ones or just being judgemental and faking the whole thing... Usually if I think they are staring for no apparent reason and end up looking sleazy to me then I will pull a face or finger... If its a friendly glance or hello with a smile when walking past then I will reply back good morning and smile back at them...

usually when a person looks at you that way he must have some intention in his mind. Most of the time if it happens to me, I would not smile to him ever. Smiling will give him a hint that I like him staring at me that way. So I would just ignore him and eventually he would get bored and turn his attention elsewhere.

I smile and nod then carry on with was I was doing. I know its uncomfortable and I have noticed a lot of people stare at each other so I just smile and move on LOL

it depends what expresion their giving you!
i have looks that could kill if you get on the wrong side of me.

It depends on the way they looked at me. If they just look at me in a normal way I tend to give them a smile. But when the look is different and they're really staring I definitely give them a frown and I look directly to their eyes to show that I don't find it funny.

If I saw someone staring at me of course I will be aware of him but It depends also If he/she looked like a bad person I will not look at him again but if they are looking nice maybe I will thought that they knew me thats why there staring at me. If given a chance I will aske her if I knew her and why she is staring at me.

well, it really depends on the nature and the looks of the stranger.. if they look nice then I give a smile.. if they look repulsive or scary I give them a " dirty look " and walk away..
most of the time I get the repulsive stairing so I give the bad look!!!

If a stranger would stare at me with no reason at all,, first is to stare at him to and try to read his mind.. I f he still staring at me at the end of about ten seconds or more.. I will try to approach him, and ask do i know you?.. But if the stare is angry, then I stare at him back with an angrier eyes.. But if the stranger has a friendly stare well then i just got to smile at him/her back..
