Taking your child to the beach...

Jazzlyn on the Beach - My daughter's first trip to the beach! Oh all the sand we had to clean off of her!

When was the first time you took your child to the beach? How did they like it? I took my daughter a couple of weeks ago for a friends wedding. She loved it! She loved the feel of the sand.

My kids have all been to the beach before they were 1 yr old. We take them to the beach every summer for our vacation. I think that the youngest was 3 months old. He really didn't know what was going on, just sat in his seat and slept. It is much more fun when they actually can play in the sand...but then the putting it in the mouth begins! We still go to the beach every year and my oldest is 18:)

Thats good that you do that together as a family every year! I ought to go more often due to where I live.

If I remember correctly I took my son at about 14 months and he loved it too.

Aww, she looks adorable! I bet she had a blast. I haven't taken my son to the beach. Actually had some opportunities, like in Florida and South Carolina but just didn't go. I'm hoping that in the next couple of years, we'll get to go to Myrtle Beach on vacation with my sister and her family.
