What do you think about a betrayer ???

In life, may be you have a lot of friends but you only have some close-friends. But sometime, one of your close-friends, even your closet-friend, will betray you. I've been in that situation, my first feeling is very very disappointed, I can't believe in what happened.If you were me, what do you think about that friend? Can you forgive him?
