Do you believe in far away from someone but you can feel their emotions?

I am in the midwest and my sister is on the West Coast yet I feel her emotions and pains. This has happened with me for a long time with her. Yesterday I started crying for no reason. I could not figure out what was wrong with me. I decided to go online and try to cheer myself up and keep from going crazy. I read an email from her daughter stating that my sister's grandson had been born yet 5 minutes later stopped breathing and they were transporting him to another hospital. I quickly called my niece to see what was going on. The odd thing was that it happened at the time I started crying. This has happened before but it always freaks me out a bit. Then later my shoulder started burning. I asked my daughter if I had a cut or something on it. She said no but it was really red. When I talked to my sister about her grandson I asked her if she hurt her right shoulder. She said oh yes that she had ran into a door and it hurt really bad. I said will you put ice on it please it is burning me too*L* She laughed and said ok will do. She is used to me feeling her emotions and pain and thinks it is a great thing. For me it still just freaks me out. It would be different if we were twins but my sister is 16 years older then me. So do have that connection with anyone?

I do believe that this happens. I have never experienced anything like this before, but have heard of it. You should feel blessed that you are so close to your sister and her family.

WOW..!! That sounds like you are kind of phsycic...!! Awsome..!! When I was reading your discussions in the begining it sounded like your are just talking in emotional point of view.....like you get to feel the pain of your loved ones and you can feel it whne they are in trouble..!! But the thing you said is true but only in twins..!! And that too in betweem thme only not with thieir kids..Like you can sense the pain of your sister's KIDS..!! That sounds a little impossible ....!! But if its true ..then its cool!!

This is a subject related with vibrational things and telepaty as well as the opening element in the individuals regarding the grasping for such things! There are so many peopple who have such kind of opening and they do feel others relation and intensity of the relationship: Those who are deeply attached with spiritual things and have good openings in themselves they can also feel such kind of relationship and its vibrations!

I think there is something to be said about those who experience a "sixth sense" in some way. If it's someone you care deeply about, I think it is probably not uncommon for it to be a recurring connection either. I have a friend who lives overseas. One night, I was having a dream in which I was trying to diagnose some hard mass in my stomach. After I work up that morning, I got on my computer to check my e-mail, as I always do first thing and the friend had sent me a message telling me she'd had to have an operation to have an ovarian cyst removed. Sometimes I feel impulses that turn out to be somewhat clairvoyant (ie. I have a gut feeling something is going to happen and then a short time later, it happens), but I wouldn't say I have ever been blessed with psychic abilities. I have never had a strangely prophetic feeling or dream in connection with the personal happenings of this particular friend either. But it does happen on occasion. Also, sometimes when I look at pictures of my early relatives (mid 19th century-ish in New Orleans) it is quite easy to imagine me in that life somewhere in my past. I am not sure where the images come from though, but certainly from nothing that has taken place in this lifetime! Naturally (and quite un-naturally to your average person), I have very odd connections between various friends and relatives, and they usually happen to be the people who I can relate to the most on a personal level.

I have studied your experiences and I think you have a kind of supernatural power. I mean your aura is expanding but most probably you did not aware of it. And one more thing: your kundalini is awakening. You can sense some kind of warm in perineum and also in the back bone untill the place around your back just behind the chest. If you meditate regularly while noticing all the sensation, you will find out experiences such as hearing voices and when you sleep you dream something you never find in dayly life. Go ahead ... you are a special person. You are a chosen one ...

I believe in emotional connections, my kid and I have too many 'coincidences" when we're apart, like having experimented with new food, and have both chosen something very obscure to try and it'll be the same thing, and that's the night we will call eachother, and it'll come up by talking about other things, it's pretty cool.

I am in Canada and my mom is in Portugal. Both of us seem to usually know when something is not well with the other.I often get a phone call from my mom when things are rough and I"m feeling really down. SHe has no way of knowing, but apparently she does. By the same token I sometimes have a strong urge to call her that comes from nowhere, but when I do call, I usually find out that something just happened to her. To make it even more interesting, I am adopted, my mom is not even my biological mother.

Twins often experience this phenomenon and I believe it can happen between any two people who have an exceptionally close bond.

Yes. I truly believe that you can feel those connected to you. I never did believe this. In fact I might have laughed and said what you spoke of was rubbish until almost 2 years ago. I met this guy online. I wasn't looking for anything but friendship and something to do when I couldn't sleep so I thought chatting online would be nice. Well, I met this guy. I swear this was completely uncanny... We seemed to know so much about each other. and he was so familiar. That in itself is bizarre because I have GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) so the fact that I felt comfortable around what was a stranger blew my mind. We talked for awhile online, then went to the phone which up until that time I had a very hard time even calling the doctor (the anxiety really affected me)... Then we made plans to meet and within 1 month of chatting online we met. Oh man, he walked in and just sat down at the coffeeshop and we just talked like we were old friends, talked like we were picking up a conversation we left off a long time ago. We have spent a lot of time talking on the phone because he does live 297 miles away and in a different country lol but I would at times pick up the phone and whisper to myself "call me" and he would call me within the minute... I get these twinges of his stress, his happiness.. There are times when I am at work and suddenly a picture of him will pop in my head of him smiling or one time him at work struggling under the weight of a bin.... It's really weird how connected I feel to him. Because of him I almost feel as though we were together in a past life.....

I know that this might sound weird but I assure you that it is what I have experienced! My ex boyfriend and I were together for over two years, I loved him with all my heart and we went on to have a daughter together. Soon after he left me for another woman! There was one night last year in October where I couldn’t sleep it was 11:00pm when I stared at the wall clock…I am usually in bed by 9:00pm because I had to get up for work at 5:00am…..I kept moving around and even heard him calling my name! I was in shock! I got so scared I began to freak out! I started crying, and I didn’t even know where the tears where coming from! Needless to say I received a call two days later from my ex’s mom stating that he was placed under arrest on that same night that I couldn’t sleep! The detectives served him with his arrest warrant at 11:00pm! I was amazed! I couldn’t believe that I could feel his emotion at that time. As for hearing him call my name, latter when I spoke with him he told me that all he kept saying to himself while in custody was my name!

I think it would be great to feel that close to someone. I've never experienced it, but I've heard of it before.

I believe this could happen when two are connected by blood.I felt my father, or rather my father felt me yesterday.I was caught a bad cold the day before.Just in a sudden I became very homesick and I missed my father so much because it has been half a year since I went home last time.Last night, when I was taking the shower,I thought if only my father called.Just the very moment the phone rang and I was wondering who it would be."It's your Dad.Come and get the phone."my roomy shouted outdoors. You might call it a coincidence, but I would like to take it as telesthesia.:)

this really happens not only to your own family members but also to those people that is connected to you closely.. i tried this when my girlfriend whom we love each other so much and tried to live almost everyday of our life together for 4 yrs when she left for work to some other place she could fell if i'm not yet home at night. And she always calls me if she felt it and she's right I'm still outside at some bar, that i usually don't go before. But now she's happy because i'm always here in my computer posting to my lot and not outside in a bar anymore.(haha)
