Well, we heard from my hubby's sister this afternoon, and dad is steadily improving. Last night before we left, he had been swearing up and down that the clock on the wall and the ceiling were covered in ants. The nurses explained that it is an effect from the medication that he's on. Today, I guess there weren't quite as many ants for him to see. LOL He ate a bit more than yesterday, but it was still making him nauseous. He's also talking a lot better than he did yesterday. Yesterday, he was slurring his words and mixing them up sometimes. Today he was a lot more understandable. He's getting better slowly but surely. Thanks again to everyone for all of the prayers and support. I'll keep you all updated when I hear how he's doing. We might go visit him tomorrow evening after hubby gets off work.

I am glad to hear that he continues to improve. Sorry, I had to laugh about the ants. With my boyfriends father it was the mexicans who were trying to kidnap him. I know its not funny, well not really anyway.lol.

I know what you mean about catching up. I finally got caught up from that 3 weeks of running around, and then this happened, and I'm all behind again! Yes, dad is much better. Back to his old cantankerous self. LOL

The ants should go away and leave him alone soon. I will bet that is some very interesting medicine he is on. His speech should also get better each day. It is going to take some time to recover from this experience. Go visit him and then let us know how he is doing.
