I put together native American crafts and lately I have put together a dream catcher with a large sharks jaws as the circle and have decorated it using things such as starfish, shark teeth, turkey feathers and a few other things. Every one that sees it is in love with it but I do not wish to sell it. However is someone made me an offer that I could not refuse then I guess that I could part with it but that offer would have to be 20 or more times what it is worth on the market to make me even think about selling it. Do yo have any craft project that you will or do not wish to sell?

There is a particular style of hat that I started making about a year and a half ago that is very popular among my friends, and even outside of my circle of friends. It's patterned off of a hat that was worn by a character in one episode of a short-lived TV show. I've made these hats as gifts, and also sold them to some of my friends and acquaintances, and I've sold a few to complete strangers as well. :) They are fun to make, but a bit time consuming. Recently, I had an order for two hats from one of my acquaintances, and this meant I had to send him the one that I was trying to sell online, and make another one. When I got done, my fiance asked me where my hat was. I told him I didn't have one, that I had given away or sold all of the ones that I had made to be "mine." He was really disappointed, and said that the next one that I made had to be for us to keep. Of course, we really need two of them, because we can't both wear it at the same time... :)

I'm currently working on a knitting project....actually it's been a work in progress for many years...that I can't decide if I am going to sell or not. It's based off of Stich and *itches "Poster Boy Bag". My boyfriend helped me create an intarsia chart of James Marsters, who plays "Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This bag has been a labor of love! It's been about 2 years and it's not done yet....granted I often put it aside for months at a timedue to the level of detail in it. I can't decide if I will sell it or not. I suppose if I find someone who really loves it, and the money is right, I might part with it. It's almost become my "white whale" at this point :-)

I made a cloak in high school. It's long, very full and hooded. It's actually an evening cloak pattern that I used. Dark green satin lining with very deep black velour on the outside. I found a really cool antique looking button to close it with. The first time I went to the Renissance festival wearing it, one of the faire costumers actually offered me several hundred dollars for it, but I love it so much I wouldn't sell it. The cloak is now more than 10 years old... it's had things spilled on it, it's been worn many times, by me and by friends -- one of my cousins even borrowed it for 2 proms. At one point, I didn't have a coat and used it instead. I wouldn't trade that cloak for all the money in the world.
