I always wear a seat belt when I'm in a car(or other vehicle that has them) whether I am driving or not. Statistics show that most of the time if there is an accident you will be better off if you wear a seat belt. So do you wear them all the time or only where it is the law?

I always wear a seat belt. If I don't an alarm will go off in my car! But that's not why I wear it. I think it is safer to have a seat belt on. I have been in a couple of accidents and the seat belt sure saved my life.
I assumed everyone in my family always wore a seat belt. We were even stopped by the police on a highway on ramp as they checked to see if people were wearing seat belts. We said we were and they waved us on. Then from the back seat I hear, "M's not wearing her seat belt." That little 10 year old nearly got us a $300 fine! She always has to be reminded to put her seat belt. She also still has to be grabbed in a parking lot before crossing in front of traffic. But that's another story.

I always do. I never used to unless I was the one driving. Weird I know, but for some reason I just didn't trust my driving. Once I got pregnant though, everything changed. I'm pretty obsessive about wearing my seatbelt now and also making sure that my husband has his on at all times.
