I really don't like frozen fruit too much.I don't mind using frozen black or blue berries if I am baking something but that's it. It seems like they get real mushy when frozen and i hate eating it.I much rather have fresh fruit.

Frozen blueberries or grapes are good as a snack sometimes, but I really don't like bigger fruits frozen like bananas. The texture gets messed up, and it just doesn't taste as good as fresh fruits.

I definitely prefer fresh fruit to frozen, however the frozen is a good back up when the fresh isn't available. I use frozen mixed berries with my cereal a lot, because the mushiness doesn't matter so much then. I do like to eat frozen blueberries in the summer. They are a great, cooling snack. Frozen bananas are good, especially when covered with chocolate, lol! I don't care for frozen or canned strawberries, though. Those have to be fresh for me. Same with watermelon and cantaloupe.

No, I do not like to eat frozen fruit. I prefer fresh fruits anytime. Somehow , the texture of thawed frozen fruits is just not very palatable.

Frozen fruits are downright disgusting with the mushiness, especially strawberries. I'd rather use the fresh

I'm the same way. There have been a few times when I have gotten some great frozen peaches, but those times are few and far between. Also, you know McDonald's sells those fruit and yogurt parfaits? Well the fruit is so frozen you either have to wait ten minutes for it to melt, or get a brain freezze by biting into it!

I would not like that atall. that would bug me think I am going to eat a parfait then bite into frozen fruit. peaches can be be okay frozen. Speaking of peaches, have you ever tried taking sliced peaches and putting them in a bowl of milk with sugar or sugar substitute?Delicious

Actually I don't. I prefer fruits as they are. A bit of ice on them.. that's ok. But not totally frozen since that would make them rock hard. Not to mention they would be hard to bite, they will always taste a bit different - not as nice.

Hi,Whiz! Frozen fruit can be thawed but it turns out so mushy. You really can't beat fresh fruit with the taste and texture. I hate biting into mushy thawed fruit.

only if i'm planning to throw it in the blender for a drink of some kind.then it's ok for it to be slushy. but as far as eating it by itself,i'd rather it be fresh too.

I agree. Frozen blueberries, cooked in something is fine, even heated up & put in something like oatmeal is good, but most fruit doesn't do well. I prefer my fruit fresh too.
