You have to get to one hundred posts before you see a star by your name. To get a 10 / blue star you have to post quality discussions, reply to threads and stay active at the site. After 500 posts you will have the ability to cut and paste things but that shouldn't be abused.

I guess that these things are important:
- Stay active
- Start your own discussion
- Read and comment other discussion started by other members
- Don't make ultra short comments
- and more....
The above things are one of the more important ones in my opinion.

How do you clarify what is ultra short comment? I can say 1-2 words, but they will be enough for a decent comment... imho.
