I don't think youre gonna achieve fitness if you ate all Andes recipes and all other people's who posted here. But it's true that they are all tempting! And it's not true that obesity is not common here. But maybe you're just seeing people who cannot eat meat, the way most americans do.(and maybe bec you have turkey in place of chickens which we cannot buy to eat a lot sometomes)And when people here get obese they are still smaller than you because you are bigger than us.:) But once they chnaged their lifestyles, which are now happening(lot of sitting at work, no physical activity, and a lot of eating and resting)it is not anymore only about something we eat. But youre right there, it is a hobby. As a lifestyle of most filipinos, most common families have lean children until they're teenagers, though not malnourished. Still, others are malnoursihed if you happen to see some , and some people are not even healthy.

The immortal "dinuguan", i dont know why it is called as chocolate beef, eventhough the main ingredient is pig's blood and pig's instestines.

adobo is one of my favorite filipino dishes. although we have adopted a lot of dishes as our own, we cannot deny that a lot of filipino dishes have influence from other countries esp. china, spain to name a few.
