It is famouse sayings of the wise people that "LOVE IS GOD... or GOD IS LOVE....." What is hidden truth in this sentence. Is the act of love as sacred as we should belive on this saying, If not, then who should we reject this statement.

God is Love because God is Everything. It would be just as true to say that God is Hate, because everything in life includes its opposite and God includes everything in Life.
So yes the act of love is sacred. In fact everything is sacred because everything is God and God is everything. I am God, you are God, everyone is God, he is in us and we are in him. But the act of physical union is particularly sacred because that is two body parts of God coming together as one soul in God.
